Website privacy policy

In short: this website collects very little on its own. Booking happens on Vagaro, financing on Cherry, and each has its own privacy policy. We use analytics and advertising cookies so we can see whether the site works and run ads; you can block them in your browser. We do not sell your information.

What we collect on this website

• Contact form. Name, email, phone, the service you are interested in, and your message. We use it to reply to you. Please do not include detailed medical information in the form.
• Usage data. Pages visited, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site, collected by Google Analytics.
• Advertising data. If we are running ads, the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) may record that you visited this site and which pages, so we can measure ads and show relevant ones. This is standard web tracking; it does not read your medical records.

What we do not collect here

This website does not take payments, store medical records, or collect health information. Booking details go to Vagaro (Vagaro privacy policy). Financing applications go to Cherry (Cherry privacy policy). Your medical record is kept in our clinic systems and is covered by the medical privacy section below.

Cookies and tracking

We use first-party and third-party cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). Advertising cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and they are never placed on pages where you enter health information. You can withdraw consent by clearing cookies, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out, and manage ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where our tools support them.

Sharing

We share website data only with the service providers named above, and when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you from this website, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time by contacting us. We respond within 45 days.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.

Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA)

This notice describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to this information. Please review it carefully. Effective November 3, 2026.

Clinical Weight Loss & Wellness is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We are required by law to keep your protected health information (PHI) private, to give you this notice of our legal duties and privacy practices, and to follow the notice currently in effect. PHI includes anything you tell us at the clinic, your treatment history, and your payment records for medical services.

How we may use and share your information without your written permission

• Treatment. To provide and coordinate your care, including sharing with a pharmacy that fills your prescription, a laboratory that runs your tests, or another provider involved in your care.
• Payment. To bill and collect payment for services, including processing card payments and, if you choose financing, confirming a purchase with Cherry.
• Operations. To run the clinic: quality review, staff training, scheduling, and appointment reminders by phone, text, or email.
• As required by law, for public-health reporting, to respond to a court order or lawful subpoena, to health-oversight agencies such as the Texas Medical Board, to avert a serious threat to health or safety, and for other purposes HIPAA permits.

Uses that require your written authorization

Marketing communications about products or services (other than appointment reminders and information about your own treatment), sale of your information, use of your photographs or story for advertising including before-and-after photos, and most other uses not described above require your signed authorization, which you may revoke in writing at any time.

Your rights

• Get a copy of your medical record, usually within 15 business days in Texas, for a reasonable copying fee
• Ask us to correct your record if you believe it is wrong or incomplete
• Ask us to limit how we use or share your information, and to restrict disclosures to your health plan for services you paid for in full out of pocket (we must honor that one)
• Ask us to contact you in a particular way or at a particular place
• Get a list of the disclosures we have made of your information for reasons other than treatment, payment, operations, or at your request
• Get a paper copy of this notice at any time
• Be notified if a breach compromises the privacy of your information

Complaints

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, contact our Privacy Officer at (945) 402-0019 or cwwaesthetics@gmail.com, or file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights at hhs.gov/ocr. We will not retaliate against you for filing a complaint.

Changes

We may change this notice and the new notice will apply to all information we hold. The current notice is posted here and at the clinic.

Website note. This website is not a secure channel for medical information. For anything medical, call us or raise it at your visit. Our analytics and advertising cookies are not placed on pages where you enter health information.

Text messaging (SMS) terms

When you give us your mobile number and check the consent box on our contact form or intake paperwork, you agree to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, replies to your questions, and occasional offers from Clinical Weight Loss & Wellness by SMS. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving care. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel and HELP for help, or call (945) 402-0019. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing. Appointment reminders sent through Vagaro are governed by Vagaro's terms.

Terms of use

• Content, photographs, and the clinic's name and logo are owned by the clinic or used with permission and may not be copied for commercial use.
• Costs are confirmed at your consultation and may change without notice. Specials and packages are subject to availability and the terms shown at booking.
• Booking, cancellation, and no-show terms are shown at the time of booking on Vagaro and summarized on our New patients page.
• Links to other websites (Vagaro, Cherry, Instagram, Google) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

The weight-loss medications and peptides we prescribe are compounded by a licensed pharmacy and are not FDA-approved; the FDA has not evaluated statements about them on this site. Reviews on this site reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of results.
